Bits & Pieces
Ok, a lot of small matters happen today. can't really group them all. so here are the pieces & pieces of my day.
Near exhaustion. Finally got a taste of "body system protesting" after so many days lacking of sleep. Last month, used to wake up late on weekends to make up for the lack of sleep on weekdays. However was so busy these two weeks (also dunno what I am busy with) that I had to wake up early on weekends too.
Last nite, opps, shall I say "this morning" ( cos it happen at 12.30am), as just abt to offline, suddenly feel my head seeing stars. Shouldn't be the case as I usually can "tahan" until 1+am. Scared that my brain will "auto shut down", i quickly used whatever energy i had to switch off the computer and went to sleep. Don't even have the energy to brush my teeth. The minute I laid on the bed, was immediately sent to "slumberland".
Red Hot Chilli Pepper
Well, i guessed my collegues were finally convinced that it is my body which really CAN'T take chilli & spicy stuff, not that I don't dare too. This afternoon, a big group of colleagues andI went out to Sami Indian restaurant in Dempsey road to treat a Indian Muslim photographer a farewell lunch and a female photographer her birthday lunch. Well, though i don't take spicy food, it is best not to make any objections, besides i thought i can get to eat some non spicy food.
However, they ordered 2 pot fish curry, while the compulsory dishes-- the tandorie chicken and other dishes are spicy. Having no choice, I thought I can bear the spicyness of the chicken by mixing it with plain rice. I was silently enduring the 'flames coming out from my mouth" when my colleagues opposite me start saying : " You all see her (pointing to me), no wonder she's so quiet, she can't take it liao, look at her face, so red."
Arghh, become the centre of attention. I then told them, i only ate the tandorie chicken with the chilli gravy scraped off, and I didn't even touch the fish head curry. Anyway, this proved that it is my body which can't take the heatiness.
Crazy or passion. I can't believe myself either, to think that this evening, i really went to the National library to search for books abt Hip Hop dancing. No books on Hip Hop dance available at AMK library, so borrowed a "Learn Salsa" book instead.
When i return home, seeing the chance my mum was in her room watching TV, i quickly practice my hip hop dance steps with I learnt last Sunday in my room. Then i found the best place to practice hip hop at home --- in the bathroom, where no one can see. Yah , that place is a little cramp.
Y I so 'on" har? i also cannot figure out.
Ps: beginning to get more and more irritated by the lack of speed of my 56k internet connection. Think i could have save a lot of time if I had broadband.
