The First Post
Ok. Really dunno how to start. Had been testing out the Chinese fonts 看得到吗? But they don't appeared on the description.
Had been contemplating to start a web blog for some time. I had started new year resolution of writing diary this year. Writing in Chinese leh, on a nice diary book I had bought. Dunno why it turned out that 99% of the entry were talking abt "T". Especially during our first two months together.
While my diary entries are more 感性(sentimental), I guess the entries here will show another side of me. Will this be the place for me to vent my anger, for me to grumble? To talk crap or be serious and talk abt philosophy? I really don;t know. I dun wish to restrict myself either. So talk crap lor.
I think I am the sort of person who even though reveal much of my feelings to close friends, they still don't understand me fully. There are a few different sides of me , you see. When I was schooling, i was the quiet type. In my club, I was the active type. With some close friends, I am the "siao-zar-bor" ( actually , I think we are all "siao siao" ). Now at my new workplace, I am the good natured girl (actually I was controling myself whenever someone bullies or irritate me).
I had always been trying to protect myself and my friends. The online world is actually a place where privacy can be invaded easily. As this is something like a diary, i still wish to retain some privacy of my own. Hence all the names mentioned here will be replaced by letters which are not their real initials. I think even if I get my friends to read the entries, they will have to figure out who are the people I had mentioned.
Even my name here --Harmonie Wong, is just a nickname, but there's a story behind it. "Wong" is not my surmame as appeared in NRIC. So why did I chose it? Well, it was something to do with family roots.( i am not telling much). as for "Harmonie" -- i chose it because that was the best name out of the four names i was given to choose from to pair with "Wong". This is something to due with numerology. "Wong" = 11. I need a "number-24" name to pair with "Wong" to get a number 35, which is good for me. Give a choice of "Maybella", "Harmonie", "Pearline" and "Beranice", I decided to use "Harmonie" in the end as it sounds just the same like "harmony".
That's it for the day.
Guess my writing style is rather "rojak"-- with a mixed usage of English, Chinese and dialects here and there. What to do?
I am a true Singaporean mah! :P.
PS; after preview my post, seems like all the chinese characters I type turned out to be weird symbols. Guess i had to use HanYu Pinyin next time.
