However, there is a story behind. "Wong"was chosen because of family's history with the surname. As for "Harmonie", it's because of a numerology pairing with "Wong". You can read more abt it in my 1st entry. I know that the online world is not 100% secure, so won't be revealing too much. & my dear friends, rest assured that I'll not be mentioning yr real life names in this blog.]

Hectic days ahead & Chingay

just back from home, thought at 10+pm, Chingay parade was over, Orchard MRT was congested with people that it is impossible to squeeze through the boarding gates of MRT station. Hence, had to called a cab to travel home.
Well, had already warned my friend that there will be a Chingay Parade when she suggested go shopping at Orchard. Since we both dun mind the crowd along Orchard Rd, we decided to proceed doing shopping & having dinner at Orchard area.

But really didn't expect the human traffic to be so bad.............

Manage to catch a glimpse of Jackie Chan and Jacelyn Tay standing on one of those floats as we walked along the road outside Wisma Atria. No doubt Jackie Chan is an International Super Star. Everyone was waving to him so eagerly that Jacelyn Tay looked out of place. Even the tourists (ang mohs, negros) were shouting "Jackie Chan", snapping photos of him, and even followed the float as it cruised along Orchard Rd. One guy even shouted "Chen Long, lei hou mah" even he was standing so far away from the float at the Mandarin Hotel lobby..........

***************
Didn't post weblog for quite some time. Cos life have been very hectic for me for past few weeks. Last week preparing for SAT, and that SAT test took abt 6 hrs instead of 4hrs , all becos of other people coming in late, taking long toilet breaks. Duh!.

Futhermore, my company magazine going for revamp soon, hence lots of meetings to brainstorm ideas for revamp issue.

in addition, mum ask me to type her Chinese course homework /project.
Worked until past midnight in the past few days. Having 3-4 hrs of sleep only.

Even my hairdresser told me to relax , not to get too tensed up as it will lead to unhealthy hair. What to do leh.......

Tomoro is Hari Raya Haji, a public holiday, going to attend my Pri School reunion after 10 yrs of losing contact with them. If not for Friendster, I won't be able to trace them back.
Also going to check out new KTV branch in Bishan on Mon.

Argh, can I request for more beauty sleep?!

Stop it!!!!!

This is the first time i really expressing my anger....

I really hate that scene happened at my home just now....

This Chinese New Year is already a sad one, why my dad had to make it worst.

this year, according to Chinese customs, we are not allowed to celebrate chinese New year as we are still mourning over my grandpa's death. that means no or less ang pows. ( my parents can't give out but we--the grandchildren, can receive).

Not that i mind over the ang pows, i dun think we are in the mood to celebrate.
But still my mum thought we can go to our grandma house (maternal side) on 2nd day of new year, not to celebrate , but just to stay there for the afternoon.

this afternoon, Dad came home and told my mum not to go to her mum's (my grandma) place on the second day. My mum got agitated as we are just returning to visit, not as in pai4 nian2 (拜年), and the priest who was doing the rituals at my grandpa's funeral said we can go back to our own grandparents houses during chinese New Year ( but not others' houses).

over the dinner ( which mum did not go) at grandma's (paternal side) place, it seems like it was this grandma who dun want us to go to our other grandma house.

Reached home, Mum was telling Dad that she had check with her friends that we can go.
yet Dad shouted, " Don't argue with me. I had bear with u for a long time!"
Mum left home in a huff......

Why do things have to be like that!!!!!!!!!!!!

SAT

arghhhh, not that nothing happened during the past few days, just that i was rather busy and stresssssssssssssssssssed.
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh

There are something which i want to write, but not now. After my SAT test next Sat.
Must work hard for this SAT test.

Really feel llike grumbling over this SAT test.

1) They post me to Singapore Expo as my test centre instead. GRRRRRR! Had to report there b4 8am, which mean I had to leave home ard 6.30am

2) The test is on Nian2 Chu1 San3. My other friends are happily celebrating CNY or going out to post CNY sales, I had to endure abt 5 hours at the examinations Hall. Anyway I can't celebrate CNY this year, so need not worry abt not joining my family in visiting relatives.

8 more days to go. Must jia1 you2 liao.

posting for 2 & 4 Jan

2 Jan
I drank beer at my office, and it was official.
At ard 5pm, just an hr b4 knocking off, I was called by my colleagues from the art department.

Why?
They want me to drank a bottle of Touche beer used for photo shoot. Abt 3/4 of the bottle is left.
Why me?
Cos i am the only one who can drink. Some though did drink wine; hate beer, and a few were sick. They said that this Touche beer is quite difficult to find in the market. i did some research and seems like it is sold rather exclusively when it first launched. See the below URL:

http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/hey/story/0,4136,20866-1048953540,00.html

Anyway, my face was a bit red, but not drunk nor high, as I had gulp ed down quickly, plus the last time i drank was in Aug last year.
Face back to normal as i reached home. Wasn't sleepy even I was doing my stuff until midnight. Stamina still there leh!

4 Jan

Went for hip hop lessons. First lesson of the year, in a new building, actualy now it was at Millenia Walk instead of Millenia towers. bigger classrooms with full length mirrors.
today's dance steps rather "xiong', or maybe because i have having a cough which made me feels breathless easily...

After dance lessons ended, rush down for a session of KTV with friends.

tried to sing A*Mei's Ji4 de2 张惠妹 <记得> for the first time. Nope , this is not my " break up song" (song that one like to sing after break up, perhaps the one that best represent their relationship) . Cos the lyrics goes:

谁还记得 是谁先说永远的爱我

以前的一句话 是我们以后的伤口

过了太久 没人记得当初那些温柔

我和你手牵手 说要一起走到最后

he did say he love me,... but he never said he love me forever, guess it was because he had been through 2 failed relationships before that he don't dare to make such promises. Besides I also never mentioned that "we will walk together til the last moment" , as in what mentioned in that lyrics.

Abt a month ago, at a KTV session with another grp of friends, one of my friends sang 苏慧伦<如果爱是这样> (Tarcy Su's ru2 guo3 ai4 shi4 zhe4 yang4), saying it was her "break-up song" in her sec school days.

Then what's my "break-up song"? Perhaps it would be Kelly Chen or Xiao Gang's 记事本 (Ji4 shi4 ben3 )....
