Kittens for adoption, any takers?
yah i am being serious. This afternoon, while walking back to office after having lunch with 4 others colleagues at JTC canteen, we spotted 2 kittens lying near a plastic bag. Initially, one colleague thought that they were dying, until another colleague take a closer look and found that they were just weak, and found 2 more kittens in the plastic bag!
Seems another act of cruelty to animals by some heartless people.
The 4 kittens were abt a month old, and they have their coat of fur, Gender unknown, as my colleague had put it :"Too small to see anything". Three of them are white (one had a small patch of grey fur on its head) while one have a beautiful coat of black and white fur. According to the "expert", these kittens are going to have blue eyes when they grow older.
2 of my colleagues had taken a fancy to these cuteeeeeee kitten, although they had ticks on them (yah, yucks). They bought milk for the kittens, which were too young to know how to drink them. Passerbys walked past, crowded us for a while, but dun bother to do anything. In the end,my colleagues managed to find a box and carried them back to our office. Better than left them being abandoned , right?
Attracted quite a lot of attention when we walk back, and my gutsy colleague was like asking those guys they want to take care of them. Seems like those guys were trying to make use of the chance to talk to us rather than really being concern abt the poor kittens. In the end, my colleague was rather pissed of by their attititude that she said loudy to the last few guys "Forget it, man. They are just chee-koh-pehs."
Haha. This is what I call "girl power".
Seems like the males are rather heartless, We are sure many of them passing by had noticed the kittens but no one bother to do something to help them.
Anyway, as for the fate of the kittens, we took them back to the office, but find no one suitable to take care of the 4 kittens. We have a number of cat lovers, but as they are working, no one is at their home to feed the poor creatures which are in need of tender loving care. So temporary, the kittens are spilt between two persons , who both said they can't take home 4 at one time cos their mothers will freaked out.
Right now, we are all on the look for a kind-hearted soul who is willing to take care of the four cute kitties which like to huddle each other together.
So, any takers?
