Of Escape & Perfume
Right past midnite now, and I am still smelling fresh of the CK Escape perfume.
Nah, I am not that "hiao2" to smell fresh in the middle of the night. Just that I had bought a small refillable bottle of CK Escape from the Perfume station at Bishan J8
Seems like CK Escape is quite popular, I remembered the last that I went for refill, it was unavailable.
The problem is CK fragrance is that, though they smell refreshing, sweet & not too musky, they don't last long till the end of the day. Unlike Chanel's Allure.
I own quite a few number of perfume, cos i collect miniatures. Had tried Allure before. It smelt sweet, a bit musky, but more suitable for evening. But be careful wearing it around guys, as one mentioned to me that once he was sitting for an exam and couldn't concentrate, cos there was another girl in the same room wore Allure , and that scent "turns him on".
Kenzo is also my favourite. Seems refreshing like nature. I treasure the Kenzo miniatures so much that I only used half of the bottles at maximum.
Had a few Elizabeth Arden miniatures too. Their range (Red Door, Fifth Ave, and one more I can't recall the name right now) seems a bit too sophisticated on me. Their frangrance, like their brand, might be more appealing to "Tai-tais" instead. Their Green Tea perfume, is too strong on the nose to me.
Apart from the miniatures, I have two large bottles of perfume ( E. Lauder's Pleasure and Shiseido's Energizing frangrance), which were given to me as birthday gifts. Too much for me to use them all, unless I bath in them. :P
Recently, had a conversation with 2 of my colleagues regarding perfume. Both of them had been using the same perfume (one wears Davidoff, while the other wears Ferragamo) for years as they agreed that the perfume are like their trademark. People will associated them with their smell.
haha, I wonder abt myself, I smelt differently each day. Cos I am always alternating between the perfumes I have.
If I settled on one, wouldn't that be wasting the perfume I have in my collection?
