posting for Monday
I have been
slacking during the long weekend break. Sun, stayed at home, supposed to make a b-day card but not in the mood to do it. read a novel which i had borrowed from the library instead. Supposed to iron my clothes but seeing that next day is a public holiday, hence i procrastinate.
Monday, dun feel like going out after friend had cancelled her appointment with me. So continue slacking at home. Paint fingernails, read the 2nd novel borrowed from library, then in the evening, rushed with the ironing while catching the National Day Parade on TV.
Sigh.. too bad can't catch it live at the stadium..... a few friends managed to get tickets.
Somehow felt that the performance segment are 大同小异. No much difference from the previous years. The only thing special and & touching was the tribute to to PM Goh.
Catch
the Singapore Idol after that. Haha that some contestants seems to
think that to be famous, they have to be like William hung-- take the clue from the one who peformed the Lemon tree dance.
Then there was this infamous stripper, Steven Lim, who seems desperate for attention. A few weeks ago, Friends had forwarded me a link of his webpage, where he self-proclaimed that he is the most handsome guy in Singapore, and selling his photos.
(quote my friend's comments : "can i puke?"). Sometimes, I think media have a part to play in making the losers famous
(or Infamous) . Take the example of William Hung, if no newspapers gives any
coverage of him, will he be able to perform, make movie and cut albums??
Updates on today, Wed, 11 Aug:
Just watched Singapore Idol.
this episode not that funny leh...
Banana Man is just... (well, how do i put it) a bait to lure the viewers.
Waiting to see next week's episode though. See who's the one who made Dick lee said
Just get out of here.
(I wonder are all these staged purposely?)
