lessons and handling over
Guessed it seems like I had to go back to work tomorrow afternoon as the person who is takng over is only coming on Monday (My last day on office) . My supervisor told me that she is coming today, but guess they are so inefficient in telling her, she can only come on Monday.
Grrrhh. That means I had to spend time teaching her and quickly finish up processing all invoices (I normally do it on the first week of each month). I already sacrificed half a day of my leave on Tue.... Well... better leave behind a good name, so cleared everything first before i go.
What I am afraid is that she is unable to absorb all the things within one day. I have to start work at my new office on Tuesay, so they can't expect me to come back and teach her. I had spent 17 months in this company, and learn to handle so many things as time goes by. How can the management expect me to teach her everything within one day?
"Everything" refers to:
1) using the Macintosh ( yes, not PC, hence no right clicks on the mouse, different command keys, different operating system)
2) creating payment form for 8 magazines
3) daily office admin duties
4) learning how to use Photoshop, resize image and burn CD
5) processing all documents out from GM office
6) coordinating for 3 gazines and other contract publications
7) others.....
Yes! That's a lot. I wonder how she will manage.
My colleague also don't understand why they took such a long time to hire a person to take over even though I had given them more than a month notice.

Went with my friends to Japanese Association to enrol for Japanese classes in the evening. But we did not pay our fees yet as they can't confirm if there is enough vacancies to accept us--the non members. They gave priority to members, and could only take up to 20 students per class. So we just have to wait for the acknowledgment letters which will arrive by 19 Feb.
So hope my friends and I will get in.
