Lots of things to update on Boxing Day

Foreseeing I'd hang out late on Xmas nite,before I told Monster Boss of my resignation, I had already applied for a day leave for today, 26 Dec, which is also know as Boxing Day.

As I do not have many boxes to clear, hahha, so clearing my blog debts.

1) 孺子可教也

The little brother of mine has an interest in arts. When I was making my Xmas cards, he would like to hang around to see what I am doing.

The one day, he asked me if I have any spare scraps and cards to spare cos he wanna to make xmas cards for his friends. I was busy writing the cards and shooed him off with a few pieces of coloured paper and 2 leftover scraps.

Later, I wonderwed how could he manage to come out with 5 cards with so few materials, yet he said the materials i had given him were sufficient.

That very night, he stayed up late to just to complete his cards. Perhaps it runs in the blood cos I often stay up late to complete cards too. Once the ideas start flowing, I 'd rather work on the spot than to lose those inspiration after a night's sleep. The only thin he asked for help was when he was writing the words in a different from the usual handwriting.

The next day, he proudly showed me his creations:

heh heh. Not bad uh, Considering that he is just a 16 year old kid and his first attempt in making cards. Seldom see guys willing to handmake cards for friends leh.

Also, he knew how to make use of materials. He even had this bright idea of using the punched dots (from the hole punch ) as snow on his card.

2) My Acer Aspire 5610WLMi notebook

Just did this simple page for fun. How can I not 'style" this pic after all I had used my hard-earned money to buy this gadget.


3) Christmas Presents

With reference to my previous post, these are the presents I had received from friends and colleagues (if i have remembered to take pics of them)

1) This was the 1st xmas treat I had received this year, on 6 Dec if I am not wrong. The gummy is still in my room. 舍不得吃。

2） This was given my monster boss, who just conveniently bought a ready-wrap chocolates from the Watsons near our office. 没诚意。The brand of chocolates reminds you of soap --- Dove.

Ok ok, i know I sounds bad. haha but i did repay him with a hand-made card and belgium chocolates from Candy empire. 才不要欠他咧!

3) Another box of belgium chocolates from my colleague, (actually we refered her as "ah-neh" ). Brough the box of chocolates back home and it was finished within 2 days.

4) This is actually "part 1 of 2" of the Xmas presents given by my colleague Annie. It is actually a hand-painted tile with a magnet attached behind

Then feelin lazy to take individual pics of xmas gifs, I make space for a "gifts corner" on my desk. Purposely blur the pic at the edges as I realised my name was crealy visible on the gift tags.

Now, theere u can see the box containing 枇杷膏 which had mentioned in my previous post. oh I simply love the cute figurine container.
