Purple invasion

Had been done a bit of packing up of my office workstation recently.

Here's a pic of the special corner of my "playground" (as someone had put it) last week .




My "neighbours: had laughed at the "flying poodle". BTW, if you noticed there's a purple grape tart , that was given by her as she knew i like purple.



My purple corner indeed made a few colleagues "buay ta han". Uncle Glenn was one of them. He mentioned that his wife and some of his relatives from his wife's family also like the colour. That is why he often had to disturb me when he passed by m workstation.

"It's had not to notice it (my purple theme cubicle) unless the person is colour blind ." he once said, and with that , there was a roar of laughter from my neighbouring colleagues.

And last week he was telling everyone he thought of a name for me:



" PM. now she not married, is called 'Purple Maiden'. when she is married, she can be called 'Purple Madam'."





and that sort of influenced my manager to disturb me too by calling me "purple".



"好学不学，去学Glenn ka-jiao 我。" I protested to her.







In the end, they also contribute to my "purple craze“。My department and uncle glenn （he's not fr my department) presented me my farewell gift and card which are purple this afternoon.

The farewell card in the shade of purple that I like。 Inside the card, 90% called me {purple gal" or "purple lady".





My last working day is this Friday, but we have a get together lunch over a meal of KFC today as my manager will be on course tomorrow and my Reporting officer is on leave on Friday. Despite the group's attempt to gather everyone for lunch, someone who have a change of attitude after knowing i was headhunted. seems to be making excuse not to join in. 吃不到葡萄就说葡萄酸吧。Will talk more in the next post.
