Trivia, Presents and Thank You!

Yeah, this is gonna be the last post and lots of pics included!

Some interesting trivia for you:

Cutleries & Tablewares bought:
No. of purple plates : 40
No. of pink plates : 16

Food:
Egg tarts: 55 pieces
Sandwiches: 2 packs of bread, 1 can of tune, 1 pack of Cheese
Koniyaku Jelly: 2 packs of jelly, 1 can of mixed fruit
A big pack of Dark Chocolate Hersheys ( in purple foil)
2 packs of Grape Marshmallows
2 packs of Grape Jelly
12 Big Grape Jelly ( for my helpers)

Decorations bought:
"Happy Birthday" Foil Balloons: 2
5 inch purple balloons: 75
5 inch pink balloons: 75
11 inch white balloons: 5o
11 inch purple balloons: 100
11 inch pink balloons: 100
Qualatex purple balloons: 10
Ribbons: 6 rolls ( different colours).
Roses ( decorated on main table) : 72 (of 3 different tones)

Other decorations include 5 hanging purple swirls and a long "butterflies & flowers" twine.

Films used:
2 rolls of Kodak 400 (36 exp)
20 Polariod films

Purple papers used:
1 A3 size used for Hall of Shame
14 pieces of wrapping paper for Guest Favours and Helpers' gifts

of cos there are a lot of "lah-lah chap-chap" things used for the Helper's gifts and forfeits.

Other things that were Purple:
1) Earings -- bought long ago
2) Shoes --wore them during Chinese New Year
3) Dress -- bought a month ago, which fitted well then, but i think I lost some weight...
Kekeke, dress is from I.S. and "60% of it" was paid with the Isetan vouchers given by my ex-colleagues as farewell gift in Jan this year. Hahha , yeah, thanks for helping to sponsor my dress. =P

Flowers from Alicia. They are the most lasting ones. Must have cost a bomb.

Bouquet from Welly & Junqian. ( my 1st bouquet of the day!) Poor flowers din survive the "Long March". These pictures were taken at 1 am the following day. We had walked a long way from Marina MRT to view fireworks. ( Will write abt it soon)

Mini (really mini) Tee from my 小弟 Zhongwei. This was packed in an orange box with 6 Rochers. Keke I had eaten the chocolates. Yeah, u know I am a chocolate freak. =P

Jame Blunt's "You Are Beautiful " CD from Ah Du & Jiahao. Heh heh, I 'd guessed it was James Blunt's album the moment I saw the CD-Rama plastic bag. ( I like the way this pic turned out!)

Sunglasses and earings from ... I dunno who. Kekeke sorry arh, I was so flustered that I can't remember who gave me these. Please "own up" yah. I wanna thank u.

Lacy Belt and Earings from Meilian & Ximei. ( Paiseh, i dunno how to style these 2 when taking pic of them). They are certianly more beautiful than what they seem here.

To all: Thanks very much for attending the gathering and for your lovely presents. 爱死你们了！Really paiseh that I din really have a chance to sit down and talk to you all as I was running ard. But I hope you all did enjoy chatting among yourselves. So sorry for the insufficient food, that was something I din anticipate. Really paiseh about it. If you've got something else to complain, can drop a comment at the end of this post. Keke.

A big "Thank You" to my helpers, as without you all, I won't be able to handle this theme gathering alone. Really thank you for your time and effort. And thanks for helping me to keep the preparations a secret. Most important of all, thanks for helping to fulfill my wish.

一生中有那么美丽的“紫色梦幻” 生日会，即使来年没庆祝生日，我想我也不会有任何遗憾。

overall it's a great party ya.. 101 points for the decor =) could have more food.. and perhaps place the food on the guests table beforehand so tt they don't have to walk around, cos I think that disturbs some of the people who's listening to the performance =P

To qium x 2: thanks thanks, But I shouldn't be taking full credits for the decor. Must give credits to the decor team.
Thanks for the suggestion regarding the placement of food. Yar hor, if I had placed food on each table, then maybe everyone will get a share of the food.
